Origin of SYNEXXUS
Portmanteau
SYN•EXX•US is a Portmanteau - the blending of two words - sound and meaning:
Syn•er•gy Cooperative interaction among groups that creates an enhanced combined effect and
Nex•us A group or series of connected individuals or things.
SYNEXXUS encapsulates both…“Combined connections to create a central effect, greater than the sum of individual actions.”

Why the Seahorse?
SYNEXXUS' logo depicts a hippocampus, an ancient Greek symbol that carried the mythical Poseidon throughout three ancient earthly domains: Sea, Land, and Air. Within our brains the hippocampus is located in the medial temporal lobe and acts as the mechanism in the limbic system to convey memory, spatial navigation, and emerging thought. Today, as was in ancient times, the hippocampus is put into service, to propel our Nation through three modern environments in which SYNEXXUS thrives – Sea, Land, and Cyberspace.
